Are you interested in gaining valuable BIOTECH INDUSTRY experience? This lab-based production role will give you the experience you’re looking for while improving infectious disease detection!

LOCATION: Sunnyvale, CA

SHIFT: 1st (6am-2:30pm, weekends required)

PAY RATE: $24/hr plus

CONTRACT LENGTH: 1 year with strong likelihood of conversion, extension, or promotion

  • The Production Test Technician is responsible for testing various parts from Production and Investigation teams by following good documentation practices (GDP) and relevant standard operating procedures (SOPs).

  • Complete assigned tasks and ensure all activities are compliant with the company’s quality, safety and departmental policies and standards.

  • Apply analytical skills or operational processes to perform testing utilizing the GeneXpert system with moderate guidance and direction

ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Performing several levels of Production Testing

  • Responsible for performing in process PCR testing of products throughout the Manufacturing process.

  • Assists in developing methods and procedures to conduct in-process bio testing during the manufacturing process.

  • Works with other departments such as engineering, product transfer and planning in conducting experiments.

  • Need to follow established documentation outlining the process and test requirements to manufacture PCR based products in compliance with standards for GMPs.

DESIRED SKILLS:

  • 1 year of GMP or Assembly Experience

  • High School Diploma, Certificate, Associate, or BS degree in Biology or related subject

  • Pipetting, Data Collection, Data Management, Documentation Experience

  • Positive, team spirit, interest in career in Biotech
