A Tester is obligated to review and analyze software. Some important duties and job tasks that are shouldered and listed on a successful Tester Resume are: to execute test scripts, to review results, to report any issues, to document error reports, to create logs for testing phases documentation, to help in troubleshooting, to perform post-implementation tests, to work with multiple teams to ensure quality.

To take up this challenging career, candidates need to possess certain key skills and qualifications, like a thorough knowledge about the current trends in the field of testing, strong coding, troubleshooting, and debugging skills, excellent team collaboration abilities, and a flair for reporting and documentation. The minimum education required to secure this job is a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science Engineering or Information Technology. While a Master’s Degree is considered to be an additional advantage, relevant work experience is necessary.
