Are you passionate about perfecting language and ensuring flawless communication? We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly skilled Proofreader to join our dynamic team. In this pivotal role, you will be the gatekeeper of quality, meticulously reviewing and refining content to meet the highest standards. Your expertise will directly impact our organization’s professionalism and reputation by delivering polished, error-free materials that resonate with our audience.

Required Skills:

  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy

  • Strong command of grammar, punctuation, and style guides

  • Excellent proofreading and editing skills

  • Ability to work efficiently under tight deadlines

  • Proficiency in MS Office and editing tools

  • Strong communication skills and collaborative mindset

Nice to Have Skills:

  • Experience with content management systems (CMS)

  • Knowledge of AP, Chicago, or other style guides

  • Background in journalism, publishing, or content creation

  • Familiarity with SEO best practices

Preferred Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in English, Communications, Journalism, or related field

  • Minimum of 2 years of professional proofreading or editing experience

Other Requirements:

  • Ability to work flexible hours if necessary

  • Prior experience in a fast-paced environment is a plus
