ER14 – Quality Engineer

Join a Leading Automotive Team as an ER14 Quality Engineer

Are you an experienced quality professional passionate about elevating manufacturing standards and supplier collaboration? As an ER14 Quality Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring our manufacturing partners meet the highest quality and reliability standards, supporting seamless vehicle production and continuous improvement. Required Skills:

  • Extensive knowledge of quality management systems and problem-solving methodologies

  • Proficiency in PPAP, APQP processes, and quality systems

  • Strong analytical and root cause analysis capabilities

  • Experience in automotive manufacturing processes such as Casting, Machining, Forging, Stamping, Welding, Plastic/Rubber Molding, Brazing, Sintering, and Assembly

  • Excellent communication and cross-functional leadership skills

  • Ability to travel frequently to supplier sites (up to 70%)

Nice to Have Skills:

  • Familiarity with Ford systems and standards, including Q1 certification

  • Six Sigma or Lean Manufacturing certification

  • Additional safety training or relevant licensing

Preferred Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or a related field

  • 5+ years of progressive experience in manufacturing, quality assurance, or supplier management within the automotive industry

Other Requirements:

  • Must possess the ability and willingness to travel extensively to supplier locations

  • Strong interpersonal skills to liaise effectively with cross-disciplinary teams

  • Commitment to quality excellence and continuous improvement
