Join Ford Motor Company as an ER14 – Quality Engineer and be at the forefront of ensuring excellence in automotive manufacturing. In this vital role, you’ll serve as the key technical liaison between Ford and its suppliers, safeguarding quality, delivery, and production standards to support seamless vehicle launches and ongoing operational excellence. Your expertise will directly impact the reliability and safety of our vehicles, making this a highly rewarding opportunity for experienced professionals passionate about automotive quality.

Required Skills:

  • 5+ years of experience in manufacturing, quality, or supplier management within the automotive industry

  • Proven expertise in PPAP, APQP, and quality systems

  • Strong problem-solving and root cause analysis capabilities

  • Knowledge of processes such as Casting, Machining, Forging, Stamping, Welding, Molding, Sintering, and Assembly

  • Familiarity with quality management principles and tools

Nice to Have Skills:

  • Six Sigma or Lean Manufacturing certification

  • Working knowledge of Ford standards (e.g., Q1)

  • Additional safety training and certifications

Preferred Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or related field

  • Experience with Ford systems and standards

Other Requirements:

  • Ability to travel frequently to supplier sites (up to 70%)

  • Excellent communication and cross-functional leadership skills

  • Experience with electronics is a plus
