Join Ford Motor Company as a ER14 – Quality Engineer and be at the forefront of automotive excellence. In this critical role, you will ensure supplier manufacturing readiness and ongoing performance, acting as the primary technical interface between Ford and its suppliers. Your expertise will drive product launches, resolve issues swiftly, and uphold our commitment to zero disruption in vehicle production.

Required Skills:

  • Proven experience with PPAP, APQP, and quality systems in the automotive industry

  • Strong problem-solving and root cause analysis abilities

  • Expertise in Quality Management, PPAP processes, and APQP

  • Experience with manufacturing processes such as casting, machining, forging, stamping, welding, molding, and assembly

  • Effective communication and cross-functional leadership skills

Nice to Have Skills:

  • Knowledge of Ford systems and standards (e.g., Q1)

  • Six Sigma or Lean Manufacturing certification

  • Safety training, licensing, or personal protection certifications

Preferred Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or related field

  • 5+ years in manufacturing, quality, or supplier management, with automotive industry experience

Other Requirements:

  • Willingness to travel frequently to supplier sites (up to 70%)

  • Ability to operate site electronics and navigate complex supplier relationships
