Field Service Engineer – Salt Lake City, UT (Company Vehicle)

Based in Salt Lake City, UT, you’ll be the vital link connecting our innovative products with our valued customers, ensuring their operations run smoothly and safely.

What You’ll Do:

  • Provide expert installation, maintenance, and repair support for Videojet equipment at customer sites within your local area.

  • Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve technical issues to minimize downtime and maximize customer satisfaction.

  • Build strong, trusted relationships by offering guidance and technical support, positioning yourself as a reliable partner.

  • Promote our service agreements and latest technology solutions to grow our presence and deepen customer engagement.

  • Travel within a 50-mile radius of Salt Lake City; initial training requires some longer trips and overnight stays, with notice provided.

Required Skills:

  • Minimum of 3 years of field service experience or experience in customer-facing technical roles.

  • Strong electrical, electronic, and troubleshooting skills.

  • Basic computer literacy including email, software applications, and Microsoft Office Suite.

  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.

  • Ability to travel as needed, including occasional overnight trips.

Nice to Have Skills:

  • Experience with industrial or manufacturing equipment.

  • Knowledge of print, coding, or marking equipment.

  • Familiarity with networked or automated systems and software.

Preferred Education and Experience:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or associate degree in electronics, electrical, or related field is a plus.

  • Prior experience working with industrial printing or integration technologies is advantageous.

Other Requirements:

  • Must be comfortable traveling locally within designated area; training may involve travels beyond the usual radius.

  • Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and procedures.
