Join a global security operations team supporting investigations across Windows, macOS, Linux, and cloud environments. You’ll help review security alerts, gather relevant information, and document findings as the team responds to potential cybersecurity events.

You don’t need years of incident response experience to be considered. This role is a fit for someone with strong Japanese fluency, a technical foundation, and an interest in cybersecurity who’s ready to learn on the job and build hands-on experience in security operations.
What You Will Be Doing

  • Review security alerts and logs to help identify potential cybersecurity events.
  • Assist with investigations by collecting and comparing information from systems and data sources.
  • Document findings, support case triage, and escalate concerns to experienced analysts or partner teams.
  • Help monitor security activity across company systems and external service providers.
  • Contribute to incident reports, threat summaries, and security documentation.
  • Learn and support incident response procedures, detection processes, and security improvements.

Required Skills & Experience

  • Professional fluency in Japanese and English to support security-related communication and investigations with Japanese-speaking stakeholders.
  • Foundational technical knowledge or experience in IT, cybersecurity, networking, or a related area.
  • Strong attention to detail, analytical thinking, and willingness to learn.
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to stay organized and manage multiple tasks.

Desired Skills & Experience

  • Exposure to cybersecurity operations, incident response, or digital forensics through work, education, labs, or personal projects.
  • Familiarity with Windows, macOS, Linux, or cloud environments.
  • Basic knowledge of common cyber threats, vulnerabilities, and attack methods.
  • Exposure to security tools, system logs, network traffic, or threat detection.
  • Relevant IT or cybersecurity education, training, or certifications.
  • Awareness of security frameworks such as NIST, ISO 27001, SOC 2, or FFIEC.
