Required Skills & Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree
- Experience working on development projects
- Experience with financial accounting and/or banking products
- Experience explaining technical details to non-technical business colleagues and managers
- Experience with Trade Corrections, Trade Recalls, Return Processing, and Contract Compare
- Strong MS Office skills, especially in Excel and PowerPoint
- Strong verbal and written communication and analytical skills
What You Will Be Doing
- Processing orders and transactions originating from trading desks and branch offices in coordination with the Operations Transaction Services team.
- Facilitate the clearance, settlement and investigation of client securities and derivatives transactions.
- Reconciliation of accounts managed by the Securities & Derivatives area.
- Serve as analytical or procedural expert for securities processing deliverables/initiatives.
- Minimize risk to the bank by monitoring errors and suggesting solutions that reduce errors, and ensure adherence to audit and control policies.
- Monitor, analyze and evaluate processes and data to ensure the accuracy and quality of completed settlement tasks.
- Support Sec Finance Trading Desk with Trade Corrections, Trade Recalls, Return Processing, and Contract Compare.
- Provide Cash Investment Support for Money Market Fund, Time Deposit, Repo, and Mutual Fund investment processing.
- Assist with identifying policy gaps and formulating policies that streamline related work processed.
- Provide informal guidance or on the job training to lower level/new securities processing team members when required.
