IT Consultant

Job Summary
The IT Consultant provides Tier 1 and Tier 2 technical support to end users, helping resolve hardware, software, and general technical issues. The ideal candidate is customer-focused, resourceful, and able to troubleshoot problems efficiently in a fast-paced support environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide Tier 1 and Tier 2 technical support to end users.

  • Respond to and manage help desk tickets in a timely manner.

  • Troubleshoot hardware, software, network, and user-access issues.

  • Diagnose technical problems and identify appropriate solutions.

  • Install, configure, and support computer hardware and software as needed.

  • Document troubleshooting steps, resolutions, and user interactions.

  • Escalate complex or unresolved issues to the appropriate technical teams.

  • Follow established IT support procedures and service-level expectations.

  • Provide clear and professional communication to end users.

  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

  • Good understanding of computer hardware, software, and basic networking concepts.

  • Strong customer service and communication skills.

  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple support requests.

  • Ability to explain technical information to users with varying levels of technical knowledge.

  • Strong attention to detail and documentation skills.

  • Previous help desk, desktop support, or IT support experience is preferred.
