Job details

Make connected-home technology easier to understand and use as a UX Content Designer for a customer-facing digital product. You’ll shape the words customers see across app features, settings, and support journeys, helping them manage their connected devices with greater clarity and confidence.

If you enjoy solving user experience challenges through clear, thoughtful language, this role gives you a chance to influence the full experience, not just polish individual lines of copy. You’ll work closely with designers and product managers, turn technical concepts into helpful guidance, and refine content as you learn what works best for customers.

Required Skills & Experience

· Experience in UX writing, content design, or digital product content

· Excellent writing and editing skills, with a strong focus on clarity and simplicity

· Ability to consider user needs, journeys, flows, and interactions—not just individual words

· Experience collaborating with UX designers, product managers, or cross-functional product teams

· Ability to manage multiple workstreams and adapt in a fast-moving environment

Desired Skills & Experience

· Experience writing for mobile apps or customer-facing digital products

· Familiarity with smart-home technology, connectivity, or connected devices

· Experience using customer research, feedback, or performance insights to improve content

· Ability to maintain a consistent voice across products and communication channels

· Experience simplifying technical concepts for a broad audience

What You Will Be Doing

· Write and refine in-app content across customer journeys, features, and settings

· Turn technical concepts into clear, conversational, and actionable language

· Partner with designers and product managers to shape end-to-end experiences

· Identify opportunities to improve usability, consistency, and customer engagement

· Align app content with messaging across other customer channels

· Iterate on content using feedback, research, and performance insights
