Our client is seeking a Principal DevOps Engineer to join their team in Downtown Boston. This is a full-time, direct-hire role with a hybrid schedule (3 days onsite, 2 days remote). This position is highly hands-on, focused on designing, building, and scaling cloud infrastructure in an AWS-based environment, while serving as a senior technical leader and mentor across engineering teams.

The company develops a differentiated, math-driven predictive analytics platform used globally by organizations to support mission-critical business decisions. They are an established and respected organization with a collaborative, high-caliber engineering team onsite.

What You Will Be Doing

Tech Breakdown

  • 90% hands-on engineering

  • 10% technical leadership and mentorship

Daily Responsibilities

  • Architect and build automated cloud infrastructure

  • Improve system reliability, scalability, and performance

  • Lead technical direction and best practices for DevOps initiatives

  • Partner cross-functionally with engineering and product teams

  • Mentor engineers and influence platform strategy without direct people management

The Offer

  • $150,000 Base Salary
