Join a Managed Service Provider headquartered in New York (Midtown), offering a hybrid full-time opportunity for a skilled Network Engineer.
This MSP supports a diverse client base across finance, legal, and professional services, delivering high-availability networking solutions and infrastructure support. You’ll work with enterprise-grade technologies including Cisco Systems, Fortinet, and Ubiquiti, managing everything from core routing and switching to firewall configurations and secure remote access.
Required Skills & Experience
· 4+ years of experience in networking, preferably within an MSP environment
· Strong knowledge of routing and switching (VLANs, STP, OSPF, BGP)
· Hands-on experience with firewalls (Fortinet, Cisco ASA, or similar)
· Experience with VPNs and secure remote access solutions
· Solid troubleshooting skills across LAN/WAN environments
· Ability to support multiple clients and prioritize effectively
Desired Skills & Experience
· Certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, or Fortinet NSE
· Experience with cloud networking (Azure or AWS)
· Familiarity with network monitoring tools and SNMP
· Exposure to VoIP systems and QoS configuration
· Scripting or automation experience (Python, PowerShell)
