Job Description
A scientific data and AI cloud company is looking for a Lead Platform Engineer. They build the platform layer for new generation of scientific software, and looking for a Lead Platform Engineer to join their team to help design and build their next-generation registry platform. This is a hands on, individual contributor position where you’ll spend your time architecting, designing, and implementing code and APIs to build out a reliable software. You’ll work with developer platforms, data contracts, workflow systems, and product engineering teams to enable internal and external builders to publish, discover, validate, govern, and compose scientific data and logic across the platform.

Ideal candidates have strong experience building out platforms from the ground up, have strong coding background, and have worked with AI agents, building guardrails to ensure safety.

This role is 100% remote, with a hybrid option for candidates in Boston. Required Skills & Experience

  • 6+ years total experience in platform engineering
  • 5+ years of experience using AWS, GCP or Azure
  • Experience building out mission critical platforms
  • Experience building agentic AI and guardrails
  • Strong communication skills

Desired Skills & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field
