Work Location: Charlotte NC – hybrid schedule (2-3 days onsite/work from home)
Duration: 12-24 months initial contract; possible extensions and/or conversion
What You Will Be Doing
Planning at Scale:
- Preparation and facilitation for BRP and I&A events
- Orchestrate Post BRP activities to summarize the outcomes
- Drive other Product specific planning activities such as Monthly Planning
- Drive cross-functional collaboration.
Drive Execution
- Drive Rhythms & Routines (as listed in the scaling events)
- Manage progress towards committed delivery of the objectives
- Promote continuous delivery and technical excellence including AI Tools adoption, DORA metrics, technology initiatives
- Promote DevOps maturity and continuous delivery
- Manage dependencies, impediments & risk across teams
- Facilitate additional practices and collaboration to improve maturity of the execution (as required).
Flow optimization
- Manage end to end feature backlog
- Measure/Manage product area metrics to drive flow of value
Relentless Improvement
- Strategize and drive relentless improvement across product area including but not limited to; Process, Toolsets, Metrics and Practices
- Point of contact for the workstream implementation.
Sustained Coaching
- Coach Product & Agile Transformation, SDLC, Time Tracking, ECM, TCM, Annual Planning and other organization guidance.
- Coach roles & responsibilities according to the established POM, Agile Playbook, EFT, ERFT, RDL guidelines.
Success Metrics
- Leverage or establish dashboards to drive execution within the established guarding rails to improve predictability.
- Measures to indicate the delivery of the product roadmap such as Objectives predictability, CI/CO achievement etc.
Required Skills & Experience
- 4+ years of Practicing Agile Scrum Master experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education.
- Experience working with Scrum and Kanban teams.
- Strong SDLC and release management background within enterprise technology environments.
- Demonstrated experience managing releases in regulated or risk?sensitive environments.
- Proven Scrum Master experience supporting complex delivery, not just Agile ceremony facilitation.
- CSM or PSM certification required.
- Advanced proficiency with Jira for Agile delivery management, reporting, and forecasting.
- Excellent communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills.
Desired Skills
- Agile Certifications (CSM, PSM, SAFe, etc.) preferred.
- Knowledge and understanding of Definition of Done (DoD), Definition of Ready (DoR), and OKRs.
