A leading healthcare technology organization is hiring a Senior Staff Systems Design Engineer to join a growing cloud and AI platform team. This is a full-time role based in the United States with a focus on Google Cloud Platform, multi-cloud architecture, and enterprise AI systems leveraging tools such as Vertex AI, Kubernetes, and Terraform.

This is a high-impact opportunity to shape next-generation platform capabilities that support real-time, data-driven health solutions. The team is seeking a senior-level engineer who can architect complex systems, lead technical direction, and contribute to building scalable AI-driven platforms. This role offers strong visibility, the ability to mentor others, and the chance to work on advanced technologies that directly influence product innovation and performance.

Required Skills and Experience GCP expertise with production-level architecture experience Hands-on experience with Kubernetes and containerized workloads Strong background in Terraform or Infrastructure as Code Experience with DevOps or GitOps practices including tools like GitHub, ArgoCD, or Cloud Deploy Familiarity with AI or machine learning platforms such as Vertex AI Strong understanding of cloud networking concepts including VPCs, load balancing, and security Experience working across multi-cloud environments Ability to lead technical initiatives and mentor team members

Desired Skills and Experience Experience with agentic AI architectures including RAG, orchestration, and tool integration Exposure to Azure and AWS environments Experience with data platforms such as BigQuery, Snowflake, MongoDB, or Cloud SQL Background in highly regulated industries such as healthcare or finance Experience with CI CD pipeline design and automation tools Strong documentation and cross-team collaboration skills

What You Will Be Doing
Design and implement scalable cloud architectures on GCP Lead development and evolution of AI platform capabilities Build and maintain Infrastructure as Code for cloud environments Optimize performance, cost, and reliability of systems Collaborate with cross-functional engineering and security teams Provide technical leadership and mentorship

The Offer Base salary range between 149000 and 248300 Performance-based bonus eligibility
