Outstanding long-term contract opportunity! A well-known Financial Services Company is looking for a Sr. Agile Project Manager with Real Time Payments, regulatory experience in Charlotte, NC (Hybrid).

Contract Duration: 12+ Months
Required Skills & Experience
- 8+ years of project management experience
- Hands-on experience with Agile/Scrum delivery models in enterprise environments
- Experience serving as an Agile coach or transformation lead
- Familiarity with payments processing, operations, or financial services transformation initiatives
- Experience supporting regulatory or industry-driven programs (e.g., ISO20022)
Desired Skills & Experience
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
- Inquisitive and a fast learner of the business concepts, processes, and details
- Proven experience in consulting and leading discussions with partners on planning and executing highly complex business problems
- Experience in developing and managing great working relationships with business and technology partners
- Strong organizational and change management skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal direction
- Experience working in a fast paced environment managing multiple simultaneous complex initiatives
What You Will Be Doing
- Lead end-to-end project management across one or more critical Payment Operations programs
- Drive execution of key deliverables including:
- Project plans, milestones, and dependency management
- Defect tracking, issue resolution, and risk mitigation
- Operational Readiness Reviews (ORR) and governance checkpoints
- Ensure alignment to enterprise change management and control standards
- Provide status reporting and executive-level communications (SteerCo, OC, leadership forums)
- Drive timely completion of control deliverables and remediation activities
- Maintain strong risk visibility and proactive escalation of delivery issues
- Improve delivery predictability, transparency, and speed through agile methodologies
- Act as an Agile coach and change agent across the portfolio
- Coach program teams, product partners, and stakeholders on:
- Agile principles and best practices
- Roles and responsibilities (PO, Scrum Master, delivery leads)
- Effective ceremonies and governance in an agile context
- Identify and remove impediments to agile adoption
- Support development of a scalable agile delivery model within Payments Operations
