This full-time opportunity is located in Roswell, GA with a growing technology company focused on modernizing and scaling its core platform. The team is undergoing a major technology transformation, migrating from a Node.js, Vue, and MongoDB environment to a modern stack built on Go, React, and PostgreSQL. This hybrid role requires 3 days onsite and offers the opportunity to play a key role in shaping the future of the company’s technology organization.

This role is perfect for someone who loves building from the ground up. You’ll be leading the rewrite of a core platform, introducing modern technologies, and helping establish engineering best practices in an environment where your ideas will actually be heard. You’ll have visibility with company leadership, the autonomy to make meaningful technical decisions, and a clear path toward broader engineering leadership as the organization continues to grow. They’re looking for someone who can combine strong technical leadership with a hands-on engineering mindset and help drive an AI-first development culture across the organization.

Required Skills & Experience

· Strong experience with Go (Golang)
· Strong experience with React
· Technical leadership experience leading engineering teams
· Experience architecting and building scalable applications
· Experience with PostgreSQL or other relational databases
· Experience working in startup or high-growth environments
· Passion for AI-assisted software development and tools such as Claude
· Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
· Experience translating business requirements into technical solutions
· Ability to mentor engineers and drive technical direction

What You Will Be Doing

· Lead and mentor a small offshore engineering team while remaining hands-on in development
· Drive the migration from a Node.js, Vue, and MongoDB stack to Go, React, and PostgreSQL
· Champion AI-assisted software development practices to improve velocity and quality
· Partner directly with executive leadership to define technical strategy and priorities
· Architect and build scalable solutions that support business growth
· Translate business objectives into actionable technical roadmaps
· Establish engineering best practices and development standards
