This New York City–based organization is building an agentic AI platform transforming financial services. As a Cloud Infrastructure Engineer, you will design and manage scalable, secure infrastructure powering advanced generative AI products.

This is a full-time, primarily onsite role (4 days/week in Manhattan, with remote Fridays) offering the opportunity to work alongside a high-caliber team from leading financial institutions and top-tier engineering organizations.

This role is ideal for an infrastructure expert who thrives on building reliable, high-performance cloud environments and enjoys working closely with product and engineering teams. You’ll directly influence platform scalability, security, and performance while helping redefine how financial institutions leverage AI. The position offers strong exposure to cutting-edge AI workloads, modern DevOps practices, and real-world impact on enterprise customer deployments.

Required Skills & Experience

  • 4+ years of experience in cloud infrastructure engineering, DevOps, or related roles
  • Extensive hands-on experience with AWS services (ECS, EC2, Lambda, S3, CloudFront, CloudWatch, RDS, IAM, SSM)
  • Strong experience with containerization and orchestration tools (Docker, Kubernetes, gRPC)
  • Expertise building and managing CI/CD pipelines (AWS CodePipeline, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or GitLab CI/CD)
  • Experience designing infrastructure-as-code using tools like AWS CDK or CloudFormation
  • Strong understanding of cloud security, compliance, and best practices (especially in regulated industries)
  • Ability to collaborate cross-functionally with engineering teams and align infrastructure with product goals
  • Proven problem-solving skills with a focus on scalability, efficiency, and cost optimization

Desired Skills & Experience

  • Experience with hybrid cloud deployments or multi-cloud environments
  • Familiarity with GCP and/or Azure
  • Experience working in financial services or other regulated industries
  • Knowledge of microservices architecture patterns and distributed systems
  • Exposure to observability tools and logging frameworks (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack)
  • Strong scripting skills (Python, Bash, or similar)
  • Experience supporting multi-tenant environments and customer-specific deployments

  • 30% Architecting and deploying scalable cloud infrastructure for AI workloads
  • 20% Managing and optimizing CI/CD pipelines for rapid and reliable delivery
  • 15% Developing and maintaining Infrastructure-as-Code solutions
  • 15% Monitoring system performance, logging, and observability improvements
  • 10% Enhancing security, compliance, and multi-tenant infrastructure capabilities
  • 10% Collaborating with engineering teams and driving infrastructure enhancements
