This opportunity is with a rapidly growing technology company focuses on robotics and autonomous systems. This is a full-time role for a Senior Infrastructure Engineer specializing in Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL) systems and test automation, working across embedded systems, cloud infrastructure, and DevOps tooling.
This role is ideal for a highly technical engineer who thrives on building scalable systems from the ground up. The standout feature of this opportunity is ownership. You won’t just run tests, you’ll architect the entire ecosystem that enables reliable, repeatable validation across hardware and software. Required Skills & Experience

  • 5+ years of experience in embedded systems, robotics, or hardware-software systems
  • Strong experience with Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL) or Software-in-the-Loop (SIL) systems
  • Proficiency in Python for automation and framework development
  • Experience designing scalable automation systems (multi-device, distributed environments)
  • Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools (GitLab, Jenkins, or similar)
  • Experience with Docker/containerized environments
  • Familiarity with DevOps practices and infrastructure automation
  • Experience with embedded communication protocols (Ethernet, CAN, BLE, Wi-Fi)
  • Strong debugging skills across hardware and software layers
  • Ability to design modular, maintainable systems

Desired Skills & Experience

  • Experience with distributed systems or test orchestration platforms
  • Exposure to cloud platforms and observability tools (Azure, Grafana, etc.)
  • Knowledge of safety standards (IEC 61508, ISO 26262)
  • Experience with hardware fixtures or lab infrastructure design
  • Interest in applying AI/ML to engineering workflows
