Job details

This smaller SaaS company is hiring a Senior DevOps Engineer for a full-time, fully remote role. They are a software company that builds products to solve challenges in the ERP and workplace management spaces. The environment is all Microsoft Azure, supporting a Windows and C# application stack, and this person will own the infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines that keep it running.

This is a dedicated DevOps seat at a small company that is doing very well on its growth journey and actively hiring engineers. You will report directly to the CEO, an engineer who built much of the environment himself, and you will have real influence and autonomy to drive change. They want someone who takes ownership, makes technical calls without hand-holding, and wants to build. The plan is for this person to grow a small DevOps team over time, so there is a clear path from hands-on engineer into leadership.

Required Skills & Experience

  • Senior-level DevOps experience in a Microsoft Azure environment
  • Hands-on with Azure infrastructure: Virtual Machines, Web Apps, Resource Groups, Virtual Networks, ExpressRoute, Load Balancers, Security Rules, and Network Security Groups
  • Experience managing Azure SQL Server, Azure Blob Storage, and Azure Cache
  • Working knowledge of Azure AD (Entra ID) and Key Vault for identity and secrets management
  • Monitoring and alerting with Azure Alerts, Metrics, and Logs
  • Strong CI/CD pipeline experience: building, maintaining, and improving deployment pipelines
  • Experience supporting Windows and C#/.NET application environments
  • Proven ability to work autonomously and drive technical solutions with minimal direction

Desired Skills & Experience

  • Startup or small company experience where you owned infrastructure end to end
  • Experience working directly with executive or founder-level leadership
  • Interest in growing and leading a small DevOps team
  • Background supporting a software product company

What You Will Be Doing
Tech Breakdown

  • 25% Azure Infrastructure (VMs, Web Apps, VNets, ExpressRoute, Load Balancers, NSGs)
  • 20% Azure Data, Identity & Security (Azure SQL, Blob Storage, Azure Cache, Entra ID, Key Vault)
  • 40% CI/CD Pipelines & Monitoring (Azure Alerts, Metrics, Logs)
  • 15% Windows and Linux system administration

Daily Responsibilities

  • 100% Hands On

The Offer

  • $140-160k salary

You will receive the following benefits:

  • 15 days of PTO
  • Medical, Dental and Vision coverage
  • 401k

Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the US on a full-time basis now and in the future.
