Seeking a Senior AI Engineer II for a full-time opportunity in Phoenix, AZ with a leading digital payments and financial technology organization. This role will focus on building production-grade AI applications utilizing Python, Agentic AI, Large Language Models (LLMs), RAG architecture, agent orchestration frameworks, cloud technologies (AWS/GCP), and backend APIs. The ideal candidate will help deliver both internal and customer-facing AI solutions on an enterprise scale.

What makes this opportunity unique? This team is focused on building real AI products, not research projects or proof-of-concepts. You’ll work directly on multiple enterprise AI initiatives centered around Agentic AI, helping deliver intelligent solutions that impact both internal operations and customer experiences. This is an excellent opportunity for an engineer who enjoys building production AI systems and wants to work on cutting-edge AI initiatives within a technology-driven environment.

Required Skills & Experience
· Strong Python development experience
· Experience building Agentic AI applications
· Experience working with Large Language Models (LLMs)
· Experience implementing RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) solutions
· Experience with agent orchestration frameworks
Desired Skills & Experience
· Customer-facing product experience
· React and/or TypeScript
· Mobile development experience (iOS, Android, Swift, Kotlin)
· Fintech or regulated industry experience
· AI evaluation, monitoring, or observability experience

  • 40% Agentic AI Development
  • 30% LLM & RAG Solutions
  • 20% API & Backend Development
  • 10% Cloud Infrastructure & AI Operations

Daily Responsibilities
· Build and deploy production AI applications
· Design and implement Agentic AI workflows and orchestration solutions
· Develop LLM and RAG-based applications
· Build APIs and backend services supporting AI products
· Collaborate with product and engineering teams to deliver AI capabilities
