Job details

This profitable, PE-backed logistics company is hiring a full-time Senior Full-Stack Engineer in Southern California (West Coast candidates will be considered). You will own the manufacturing side of their in-house operating platform, built with TypeScript, Node.js, NestJS, and React on Azure.

This is a true peer seat on a two-person senior engineering team, and you will own a full product surface, frontend to backend. The platform supports over $100M in annual revenue, and your area is mid-rollout, with two enterprise customers integrating and a migration off a legacy system running through 2027. They want a senior engineer who values correctness, reviews code carefully, and already uses AI tools every day. You will get real ownership, work that ships to production, and close pairing for your first three months to get up to speed.

Required Skills & Experience
· 6–12 years of experience building full-stack web applications (evidence over tenure)
· Full-stack authorship in TypeScript on Node.js with React, or a close equivalent
· Relational data modeling and migrations on transactional systems, beyond ORM defaults
· Production ownership: deployed, monitored, and on-call for live systems
· Integrations with third-party APIs and file-based feeds
· Hands-on AI tooling beyond off-the-shelf use (custom workflows, MCP) and verifying AI output
· Strong code review skills and the ability to specify work clearly for others
· Clear communication with non-technical audiences, including executives and operators

Desired Skills & Experience
· Background in manufacturing, MES, WMS, ERP, or supply chain
· Experience replacing a legacy system while it stays live in parallel
· Infrastructure as code experience, especially Terraform on Azure
· Experience reviewing work from engineers outside your immediate team

· 30% React / TypeScript
