Navigation Algorithm Engineer
Seeking an engineer with an M.S. or a Ph.D. in Aerospace Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Systems Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent.
The work will focus on developing, analyzing and testing navigation algorithms and software for a variety of applications.
12+ Month Contract

Responsibilities
The work will focus on developing, analyzing and testing navigation algorithms and software for a variety of applications.
Development will include all stages of the development life cycle (prototype to flight ready software).
Analysis related work will include performance analysis, such covariance analysis, Monte Carlo analysis, and post-flight test data analysis.
Testing will involve test driven development, integration and test support, and defect resolution.
Qualifications
Deep knowledge of the principles of navigation and related algorithms – Strapdown navigation systems, Kalman Filtering, navigation aiding, etc.
Strong algorithm and software development skills comfortable in languages such as C/C++, Python, MATLAB/Simulink familiar with test driven development and Agile development practices
Background in navigation performance analysis methodologies such as covariance analysis and Monte Carlo analysis
Experience with navigation related sensors IMUs, GNSS, vision, etc.
Security clearance is required: Secret or above.
