We are searching for an experienced Cloud & Platform Engineering manager professional to join a team for a greenfield data platform build. In this position you will be leading a team of engineers to create an entirely new environment reporting, AI, and ML data products. This is a hands-on technical first-line manager position requiring both management skills (task breakdowns, JIRA board management, etc) as well as hands-on cloud infrastructure & devops skills.
Core requirements include a solid hands-in understanding of cloud infrastructure, observability & monitoring (ELK/Datadog), CI/CD, containerization, clustering, and automation/scripting. Ideal candidates will also have a experience building greenfield tooling.
This is a fully remote position within the US
Required Skills & Experience

  • 8+ Years of experience Platform & Infrastructure Management
    • DevOps
    • Containerization
    • Reliability
    • Observability
  • 2+ Years of management/leadership (teams of 4-8)
  • Greenfield/new-build experience

Desired Skills & Experience

  • Data platform & analytics experience
    • Snowflake/DataBricks
  • Relevant Education (Bachelors in Computer Science, Masters in Data Analytics, etc)
