A large enterprise organization is seeking an Infrastructure Architect specializing in application delivery and traffic management. This role focuses heavily on F5 load balancing platforms and enterprise scale application availability architectures. This is a full time position based in the United States, supporting critical business applications in a highly complex environment. Location and work model are assumed to be flexible or hybrid based on enterprise standards.

This opportunity is ideal for an experienced architect who wants to define standards, influence long term technology direction, and guide large scale infrastructure programs. The role is not operational support focused; instead, it centers on architecture ownership, governance, and partnership with application, middleware, and security teams. Candidates gain visibility across the organization and the ability to shape how applications are delivered and scaled.

Required Skills & Experience
• Experience in infrastructure or network architecture roles
• Strong expertise in application delivery and load balancing concepts
• Hands on architectural experience with F5 platforms in enterprise environments
• Deep understanding of application traffic flows, availability models, and resiliency patterns
• Ability to communicate complex technical designs to both technical and non technical stakeholders

Desired Skills & Experience
• Experience defining enterprise architecture standards and reference designs
• Knowledge of L4 and L7 traffic management, SSL offload, and health monitoring
• Experience partnering with application and security teams on end to end design
• Exposure to governance, risk management, or regulated environments

What You Will Be Doing
• Defining enterprise application delivery and traffic management architectures
• Leading design and governance of F5 load balancer platforms
• Creating technology roadmaps, reference architectures, and proof of concepts
• Ensuring solutions meet availability, performance, scalability, and security objectives
• Advising and influencing project teams to align with architectural standards

Tech Breakdown
• 70% Application delivery and F5 load balancing platforms
• 20% Architecture design, standards, and governance
• 10% Research, prototyping, and strategic planning

Daily Responsibilities
• 40% Architecture design and technical leadership
• 30% Governance, standards, and roadmap planning
• 30% Collaboration with application, infrastructure, and security teams
