We’re hiring a Staff Product Designer to join a fast-growing software company building collaborative workflow tools for complex, team-based environments.

This is a strategic design leadership opportunity focused on shaping both the end-user experience and the design system that supports a scalable product platform. You’ll operate across multiple product areas, helping define experiences, improve consistency, and establish design best practices that enable teams to move efficiently while maintaining a high-quality user experience.

We’re looking for a designer who combines deep product thinking, systems expertise, and strong cross-functional influence. You’ll partner closely with Product, Engineering, and company leadership to solve complex problems, drive alignment, and elevate design standards across the organization.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys navigating ambiguity, leading large initiatives, and building the foundations that allow products and teams to scale effectively.

What You’ll Be Doing Core Focus

  • Own and drive end-to-end product design initiatives across multiple product areas
  • Design System leadership is essential
  • Shape scalable design patterns, frameworks, and user experiences
  • Partner closely with Product and Engineering to influence roadmap and strategic decisions
  • Establish and evolve design standards across the organization
  • Help create a world-class design culture focused on quality, usability, and business impact

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

  • Lead design efforts from discovery and research through delivery and iteration
  • Maintain and expand a scalable design system used across multiple products and teams
  • Create reusable components, interaction patterns, and documentation
  • Collaborate with engineers to ensure high-quality implementation and consistency
  • Simplify complex workflows into intuitive user experiences
  • Facilitate stakeholder discussions and align teams around user and business needs
  • Define best practices for design processes and team collaboration
  • Mentor and support fellow designers through feedback, reviews, and coaching
  • Influence product strategy through research, insights, and design leadership

Required Skills & Experience

  • 10+ years of product design experience within software, SaaS, or digital product organizations
  • Significant experience building, managing, or scaling design systems
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating:
    • End-to-end product ownership
    • Systems thinking
    • Complex problem solving
    • Measurable business and customer impact
  • Ability to lead cross-functional initiatives independently
  • Strong collaboration skills with Product, Engineering, and executive stakeholders
  • Experience working on complex workflows and multi-surface product experiences
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Comfortable operating in fast-moving and evolving environments

Nice to Have

  • Experience designing collaboration, productivity, workflow, or project management platforms
  • Strong background in B2B SaaS products
  • Experience designing scheduling, coordination, resource planning, or calendar-based workflows
  • Familiarity with enterprise software and complex operational platforms
  • Experience working in fully remote or distributed organizations
  • Experience helping establish design practices, standards, and scalable team processes
  • Previous experience mentoring designers or influencing design organizations
  • Exposure to data-rich applications, dashboards, or operational tools
