Job details

We are working with a well-established financial organization to hire a Senior Manager of Network. This is a leadership role overseeing the team responsible for enterprise data center and hosting infrastructure. The environment is Cisco-heavy and spans data center fabric, hybrid cloud connectivity, and enterprise network services. The right candidate will bring genuine technical depth in data center networking combined with the people management experience to lead and develop a high-performing team.

This is a seat for a network leader who wants to operate at real scale without losing touch with the technology. You will own the team that designs, builds, and maintains the network backbone of the organization, covering everything from leaf-spine fabric architecture to long-term vendor strategy to cloud connectivity. The work spans complex escalation resolution to infrastructure roadmap planning. If you are a senior network engineer ready to step fully into a management role, or already there and looking for a bigger challenge, this is worth a serious look.

Required Skills & Experience

  • 10+ years of experience in enterprise networking with a focus on data center infrastructure
  • Hands-on experience with data center networking: BGP, EVPN, VXLAN, and leaf-spine topologies
  • Experience managing senior-level network engineers and driving team performance
  • Cisco certification at the professional or expert level (CCNP, CCIE, or CCDP)
  • Proven track record managing enterprise networking vendors: evaluation, selection, and ongoing relationship management
  • Experience designing and maintaining high-availability architectures with east-west traffic optimization and fault isolation
  • Undergraduate degree in a related field or equivalent combination of training and experience

Desired Skills & Experience

  • Graduate degree in a related technical discipline
  • Experience with software-defined networking (SDN) and network automation tooling
  • Background integrating hybrid cloud connectivity into enterprise network strategy
  • Cross-functional collaboration experience with server, storage, virtualization, and security teams
  • Familiarity with IT and Information Security policy compliance within network engineering teams

What You Will Be Doing
Tech Breakdown

  • 50% Cisco Data Center Work
  • 30% SDN Work
  • 20% Network Automation

Daily Responsibilities

  • 40% Team Leadership
  • 35% Architecture and Strategy
  • 25% Escalation Management

The Offer

  • 6 Month Contract to Hire

You will receive the following benefits:

  • Medical, Dental, and Vision Insurance
  • Bonus once Converted to FTE

Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the US on a full-time basis now and in the future.
