Job details

We are partnered with a fast-scaling logistics and supply chain technology organization that is building sophisticated, AI-powered platforms to transform and streamline complex operational processes. Their solutions combine advanced machine learning, automation, and modern software engineering to enable smarter, data-driven decision-making across logistics, warehousing, and transportation. The engineering team thrives in a collaborative, high-velocity environment where developers take on meaningful ownership and contribute directly to impactful, AI-enabled products that drive real business results.

We are specifically targeting Machine Learning Engineers who have hands-on experience working within Node.js-driven environments and are skilled at bringing ML models into production within scalable application architectures.

This role is centered around architecting and scaling modern applications powered by machine learning and intelligent automation to support critical supply chain operations. You will operate across the full stack, building user-facing web applications, embedding AI/ML functionality, and developing robust backend systems that drive predictive insights and automated decision-making across logistics workflows.

I AM NOT ABLE TO ENGAGE ON A C2C BASIS WITH OTHER COMPANIES, AND CANDIDATES MUST BE A GREEN CARD HOLDER OR US CITIZEN. NO SPONSORSHIP IS AVAILABLE

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and support scalable full stack applications using Node.js and React, with a primary focus on integrating AI/ML capabilities (30%)
  • Build, deploy, and operationalize machine learning models and AI-driven features across internal systems and customer-facing platforms (30%)
  • Develop backend services, APIs, and data pipelines to enable real-time, data-intensive logistics workflows (15%)
  • Contribute to system architecture decisions, optimizing application performance, scalability, and ML model efficiency within cloud environments (10%)
  • Connect third-party data sources, ML services, and internal tools to expand predictive and analytical functionality (10%)
  • Work cross-functionally with engineering, product, and business teams while helping establish best practices for AI implementation and system design (5%)

Qualifications

  • 7+ years of professional experience in software engineering with a strong emphasis on full stack application development
  • Proven experience working with Node.js and React in production-scale environments
  • Hands-on experience developing, deploying, or integrating machine learning models or AI-based solutions
  • Experience embedding ML models into production systems within Node.js or JavaScript-based backend architectures
  • Strong understanding of system design, API development, and distributed application architecture
  • Experience working with large-scale datasets, streaming data, or complex data pipelines
  • Familiarity with cloud ecosystems such as AWS, GCP, or Azure, ideally supporting AI/ML workloads
  • Background in logistics, supply chain, transportation, or other data-heavy industries is a plus
  • Strong analytical mindset with the ability to solve complex technical challenges in fast-paced environments
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate across technical and non-technical teams

The Offer

  • Competitive base salary along with bonus and/or equity opportunities
  • Comprehensive health benefits including medical, dental, and vision coverage
  • Opportunity to build and scale AI-powered systems transforming logistics and supply chain operations
  • Highly collaborative engineering culture with strong ownership and professional growth opportunities
  • Flexible hybrid or onsite work environment based on team and location requirements
