Job Title: Core Java Full Stack Engineer
Job Location: Charlotte NC 28282
Job Duration: 12- 18 Months Contract to Hire

Overview:

  • Primary focus: Mortgage servicing + underwriting applications
  • Team structure: Agile, embedded within large enterprise banking platform

Key Responsibilities:

  • Preventing foreclosure / supporting loan retention
  • Mortgage servicing workflows
  • Loan underwriting decision support
  • Customer-facing mortgage data applications

Technical ecosystem:

  • UI application layer (web-based mortgage servicing tools)
  • Backend services powering mortgage decisioning engines
  • API layer connecting underwriting + servicing systems

Required Technical Skills:
Backend Development

  • Java / Backend (core focus)
  • Java (core development)
  • Spring Boot
  • REST APIs / microservices
  • Backend service development
  • JSON / XML processing

Frontend / Full Stack expectation

  • Angular (preferred)
  • React (acceptable)
  • UI development exposure required (not purely backend)

Development Focus:

  • 70% Backend Development
  • 30% Frontend/UI Development

Experience Required:

  • Hands-on development experience required.
  • Not suitable for fresh graduates.
  • 2+ years of relevant experience required

Nice to Have:

  • Exposure to Agentic AI or AI/LLM technologies.
  • AI certifications or training.
  • Python.
  • Prompt engineering.
  • Hands-on experience with Large Language Models (LLMs).
