An aerospace, aviation, or transportation startup is building the digital infrastructure to modernize airfield operations, enabling smarter, faster, and more reliable aircraft ground handling. As an iOS Engineer, you’ll work with Swift and SwiftUI to build mission-critical mobile applications that power real-time aviation operations and support the future of autonomous airfields.

This is a unique opportunity to work on cutting-edge, real-world systems where your code directly impacts physical operations at airports. This company is looking for an engineer who thrives in fast-paced environments and wants to take ownership of meaningful product initiatives. You’ll gain exposure to complex operational systems, collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, and play a key role in shaping the next generation of aviation technology—all while growing your technical depth and product thinking in a high-impact startup setting. Required Skills & Experience
· 3+ years of professional iOS development experience using Swift
· At least 1 year of hands-on experience with SwiftUI
· Proven experience shipping and maintaining apps on the App Store
· Strong understanding of Apple SDKs and iOS development tools
· Experience working in agile development environments
· Proficiency with Git/GitHub for version control
· Strong debugging skills using tools such as crash reporters, logs, and debuggers
· Experience handling production issues in live applications
· Ability to collaborate cross-functionally with product and design teams Desired Skills & Experience
· Startup experience or experience in fast-paced, high-ownership environments
· Experience in aviation, aerospace, or transportation domains
· Familiarity with CoreData or SwiftData
· Experience with UI testing and automation frameworks
· Exposure to performance optimization and scalability improvements in mobile apps
· Interest in integrating AI tools into development workflows What You Will Be Doing Tech Breakdown
· 90% iOS Development (Swift, SwiftUI, Apple SDKs)
· 10% Backend/API Integration & System Optimization
Daily Responsibilities
· 70% Hands-On Development
