Role: 3D Javascript Developer

A growing technology-driven organization based in El Segundo, CA is seeking a Full-Time JavaScript Developer to help build and enhance a suite of applications spanning desktop, backend, and 3D visualization tools. This position focuses heavily on JavaScript technologies including React, Electron, Node.js, and 3D rendering frameworks, supporting products that enable advanced digital design and manufacturing workflows. This is a hybrid role requiring onsite presence twice per week.

This is a unique opportunity to work on cutting-edge software that combines interactive 3D graphics with real-world applications in a highly technical environment. You’ll join a small, tight-knit engineering team where your contributions directly influence product direction and user experience. The ideal candidate is someone who thrives in a fast-paced setting, enjoys tackling complex visual and system-level challenges, and is excited about expanding their skill set across full-stack development and 3D technologies. This role offers strong growth potential, hands-on ownership, and the chance to work on impactful, highly specialized solutions. Required Skills & Experience

  • Strong proficiency in JavaScript and modern React development
  • Hands-on experience building or maintaining Electron-based desktop applications
  • Familiarity with Node.js and backend service development
  • Experience working with AWS serverless technologies (Lambda, DynamoDB, S3)
  • Solid understanding of 3D rendering principles and tools such as Three.js
  • Ability to work across frontend, backend, and desktop environments
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field
  • Must reside within commuting distance of El Segundo, CA
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States

Desired Skills & Experience

  • Experience with UI/UX design and user interface optimization
  • Exposure to Python and/or 3D software workflows
  • Knowledge of geometry processing, including mesh manipulation and point clouds
  • Interest in CAD systems, automation, or technical product development

What You Will Be Doing Tech Breakdown

  • 40% Frontend (React / UI Development)
  • 30% Backend Services (Node.js / AWS)
  • 30% Desktop & 3D Rendering (Electron / Three.js)

Daily Responsibilities

  • 75% Hands-On Development (coding across multiple layers)
  • 0–10% Management Duties
  • 25% Team Collaboration (planning, reviews, estimation)
