Our client, a leader in FinTech, is seeking a contract Marketing Automation Analyst. This is a hybrid role in San Francisco, CA. Tuesday – Thursday onsite, the rest is remote.
Contract duration: 6 months + (w/extensions)
Ideally, this person has a strong technical foundation in SFMC (not just a marketing background) and has been directly responsible for building and troubleshooting journeys and automations in a production environment.
Role: Marketing Automation Analyst:
Core Requirements:
– Hands-on, technical experience implementing Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SFMC)
– Strong experience with Journey Builder, including designing and executing complex, multichannel journeys (Email, SMS, and Push)
– End-to-end campaign management experience, not just execution but also strategy and implementation
– Experience with Automation Studio and various trigger-based sends (journey triggers, trigger sends/automations)
– Solid audience management skills, including segmenting and querying audiences using SQL
– Ability to build email/SMS templates from scratch (not just editing existing templates)
– Experience with dynamic content implementation within SFMC
– Ability to write and edit AMPscript and Server-Side JavaScript (SSJS)
– Strong HTML coding practices for email development, including responsive/mobile-friendly builds
– Experience coding for dark mode compatibility in email templates
