Outstanding long-term contract opportunity! A well-known Financial Services Company is looking for a Senior Network Engineer in Irving, TX. Charlotte, NC. Raliegh, NC. Minneapolis, MN. or Chandler, AZ. (Hybrid).
Contract Duration: 12 Months
Required Skills & Experience
- 3+ years of experience designing and implementing LAN/WAN/Datacenter solutions for large enterprise environment.
- 3+ years of experience with IP routing protocols (BGP, OSPF, Static), specializing in implementing DDoS mitigation strategies and configuring ACLs in a large enterprise environment.
- 3+ years of Network Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, military experience, education.
- 3+ years of experience with configuration of routing and switching latest platforms and solutions – Cisco Nexus and/or Arista product line.
- Operational and technical knowledge of network security controls including ACLs, VRF’s, DDoS Virtual Connect, etc
Desired Skills:
- CCNA, CCNP/DP or CCIE Certification preferred – Datacenter.
- Demonstrated skill with creating and/or updating technical design documentation used by engineering teams.
- Experience with scripting YAML/Python/Ansible/GITHUB
- Experience working in a Product/Agile environment utilizing Atlassian Jira products.
- Experience and familiarity with Change control processes – Service Now
- Experience with Microsoft Office, Visio Professional Ability to make decisions quickly in a high-volume hosting environment.
- Ability to solve complex problems and analyze issues.
- Ability to coordinate, document and drive flawless execution.
