A leading enterprise organization within the transportation and travel space is seeking a Senior Full Stack Engineer to join a team focused on modernizing large-scale customer and operational platforms. This role offers the opportunity to work across Angular, Java, Spring Boot, cloud-native technologies, microservices, and distributed systems while contributing to products operating at significant scale.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced engineer who enjoys balancing hands-on development with architecture and technical leadership. The organization is investing heavily in cloud transformation, automation, platform reliability, and engineering excellence. The successful candidate will have a strong voice in technical decisions, help mentor other developers, and contribute to long-term modernization initiatives.
Required Skills & Experience
- 5+ years of professional software engineering experience
- Strong Java development experience
- Experience building applications with Angular 17+ and TypeScript
- Deep understanding of Spring and Spring Boot
- Experience building RESTful APIs and microservices
- Cloud experience with AWS and/or Azure
- Experience with Kubernetes and Docker
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines
- Experience with GitHub or Azure DevOps
- Strong understanding of scalable application design
- Experience working in Agile development environments
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Desired Skills & Experience
- LitElement 2.0 experience
- Python and FastAPI development experience
- GraphQL implementation experience
- Event-driven architecture using Kafka
- PostgreSQL, MongoDB, or Redis experience
- Test automation experience using Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, or similar tools
- Airline or transportation industry experience
- Experience mentoring engineers and leading technical initiatives
