Job details

A healthcare technology company is growing its team and hiring a Director of Provider Sales. The organization builds healthcare technology that helps health systems and payers exchange clinical data. Its Release of Information (ROI) solution automates parts of the process for sharing patient records, helping enterprise health systems streamline information access and exchange. This is a full time direct hire role and fully remote.

This is a high-impact individual contributor role, not a people-management position. You’ll own new business across the Central and Eastern U.S., taking complex enterprise opportunities from prospecting through close. You’ll have support from BDR and marketing teams, plus a modern sales tech stack, while working closely with senior healthcare leaders and cross-functional partners. It’s a chance to shape growth in a changing healthcare interoperability market.

Required Skills & Experience

  • 5+ years of experience selling technical solutions—not services—to healthcare provider organizations
  • Consistent record of meeting or exceeding quota, building pipeline, and closing enterprise deals with health systems
  • Experience managing complex enterprise sales cycles from initial outreach through contract close
  • Understanding of healthcare provider organizations, including clinical data exchange, HIM operations, quality/HEDIS workflows, or payer contracts
  • Skilled at prospecting, building relationships with decision makers, presenting to C-level executives, and negotiating complex contracts
  • Working knowledge of MEDDPICC and Mutual Action Plans
  • Strong forecasting, communication, presentation, and cross-functional collaboration skills
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
  • Ability to travel up to 30%

Desired Skills & Experience

  • Familiarity with major EHR systems
  • Experience selling into health systems and hospitals
  • Background in healthcare interoperability or Release of Information solutions

What You Will Be Doing
Daily Responsibilities

  • Generate new business through outbound prospecting, networking, partnerships, and industry relationships, partnering with SDR and marketing teams.
  • Build and execute a sales plan to meet or exceed quarterly and annual quota.
  • Discover each prospect’s priorities and challenges, then present tailored solutions.
  • Manage long, multi-stakeholder sales cycles from first conversation through negotiation and close.
  • Use MEDDPICC and Mutual Action Plans to align buyers and maintain a disciplined path to close.
  • Keep forecasts, Salesforce records, call notes, and contact information accurate and current.
  • Stay informed on healthcare trends, regulatory changes, competitors, and customer needs.
  • Collaborate with marketing, product, implementation, and customer success teams to support a seamless customer experience.
  • Bring customer feedback to internal teams to inform product and service improvements.

The Offer

  • Base salary + Uncapped Commission

You will receive the following benefits:

  • Medical, Dental, and Vision Insurance
  • Vacation Time
  • Stock Options

Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the US on a full-time basis now and in the future.
