Our client, a leader in financial tax software, is looking to hire a Service Designer. This is a hybrid role, onsite 3x per week, that is open to candidates local to San Diego, CA or Mountain View, CA.
*This job is a 6-month W2 contract role with benefits & paid holidays!*
As a Service Designer, you will own critical Customer Experience initiatives with high visibility to leadership, seeking to achieve conversion, quality, and efficiency for financial services products.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Own the scoping, partner identification, deliverables, timelines, and delivery of service design projects in collaboration with stakeholders across product, design, research, and operations
- Design surveys, reviews, and leverage conversion dashboards to gather and visualize customer feedback, identifying dependencies and gaps in service offerings
- Leverage data to drive product development initiatives, advocating for the customer experience
- Lead initiatives that optimize pricing, cross-sells, and upsells to ensure customers financial needs align to product and value
Required Skill & Qualifications
- 8+ years in Service Design, Customer Experience Strategy, or Product Management
- Experience leveraging data insights from Tableau and/or other data visualization tools
- Experience presenting insights to senior leadership, distilling complex data to a simple storyline
- Prior experience working in a highly matrixed environment, working cross-functionally
Desired Skills & Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in Service Design, Human Computer Interaction, or related field
- Prior experience in SaaS, FinTech, or Tech industries highly preferred!
