Job details

A global technology consulting organization is expanding its presence in Frisco, Texas, and hiring Software Engineers and Architects to join a newly established Center of Excellence. This team will focus on building and modernizing a large-scale application platform using C#, .NET, Angular, and Microsoft Azure. Opportunities may be structured as contract-to-hire or direct hire (final structure pending).
This role offers something a bit different from traditional project-based work. Engineers here will support an entire ecosystem of applications rather than a single product, contributing to a platform that powers statewide transportation and DMV systems. The team is responsible for modernizing and scaling this platform into a multi-state solution. The new office—located near the Dallas Cowboys practice facility—is a key investment area, meaning early hires will have strong visibility, influence, and opportunities to grow within the organization.
Required Skills & Experience

  • Strong development experience using C# and .NET
  • Experience with modern JavaScript frameworks (Angular preferred, React acceptable)
  • Hands-on experience working with Microsoft Azure
  • Understanding of microservices architecture and distributed systems
  • Experience developing or maintaining enterprise-level applications

Desired Skills & Experience

  • Experience with Azure Functions or serverless architecture
  • Background in modernizing legacy systems
  • Strong system design or architecture experience (for senior/architect roles)
  • Experience with government or transportation-related systems (e.g., DMV platforms)
  • Familiarity with large-scale, multi-application platforms

What You Will Be Doing

  • Build and enhance applications within a large, multi-application platform
  • Contribute to modernization efforts, transitioning legacy systems to cloud-native architecture
  • Collaborate across teams to support multiple initiatives within the platform ecosystem
  • Participate in architecture discussions and contribute to scalable design solutions

Tech Breakdown

  • 50% Backend (.NET / C#)
  • 30% Frontend (Angular / JavaScript)
  • 20% Cloud & Architecture (Azure, microservices)

Daily Responsibilities

  • 70% Hands-on development
  • 10% Architecture and design
  • 20% Team collaboration and meetings

The Offer

  • Competitive compensation based on experience
  • Bonus eligibility (structure to be confirmed)

Benefits

  • Medical, Dental, Vision
  • Paid Time Off
  • Long-term career growth within a newly established engineering hub

Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the U.S. on a full-time basis now and in the future.
