A growing enterprise technology organization is hiring a Software Architect to join a newly established innovation hub in Frisco, TX. This is a full-time position focused on modern application architecture using C#, .NET, Angular, and Microsoft Azure.
This role is part of a high-visibility initiative to redesign and modernize large-scale government systems used daily across an entire state. The team is building a next-generation platform that consolidates dozens of applications into a unified experience, with plans to expand nationally. This is an opportunity to join at the ground level of a new engineering center and help define best practices, architecture patterns, and long-term technical direction.
Required Skills & Experience
- Strong experience with C# / .NET development
- Experience building or supporting microservices-based systems
- Cloud experience with Microsoft Azure (including Azure Functions)
- Frontend experience with Angular or React
- Strong understanding of system design and scalability principles
Desired Skills & Experience
- Prior work with DMV systems, ADOT, AAMVA, or similar organizations
- Experience modernizing legacy applications
- Exposure to large enterprise or government environments
- Leadership or mentorship experience
What You Will Be Doing
- Collaborating with engineering teams to define development standards
- Supporting cloud transformation and modernization initiatives
- Evaluating and implementing microservices strategies

Daily Responsibilities
- 50% Hands-on architecture and design work

- 10% Mentorship and technical guidance
