A prominent aviation technology company is seeking a Tech Lead – Full Stack Developer to join their growing team. This organization develops mission-critical platforms that support flight operations, safety systems, and enterprise-level aviation solutions.

Technology Stack

  • Frontend: React (modern JavaScript/TypeScript)
  • Backend: Golang, Node.js, and/or Java
  • Infrastructure: Cloud-based environments

Key Responsibilities Technical Focus

  • Contribute to frontend development using React (~45%)
  • Build and maintain backend services and APIs (~40%)
  • Participate in architectural design, DevOps practices, and system planning (~15%)

Day-to-Day Activities

  • Majority hands-on development (approximately 70%)
  • Technical leadership and team support (15%)
  • Collaboration across engineering and cross-functional teams (15%)

Required Qualifications

  • 7+ years of professional software engineering experience
  • Strong proficiency with React and modern JavaScript/TypeScript
  • Solid backend development experience in at least one of the following: Golang, Node.js, or Java
  • Experience designing and implementing RESTful APIs and scalable backend systems
  • Prior experience in a Tech Lead or Senior Engineering capacity
  • Deep understanding of system architecture, scalability, and performance optimization
  • Experience working within Agile development frameworks

Preferred Qualifications

  • Background in aviation, transportation, or other safety-critical industries
  • Experience building or supporting microservices and distributed systems
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud
  • Experience with containerization tools like Docker and orchestration platforms such as Kubernetes
  • Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
  • Demonstrated ability to mentor engineers and lead code reviews
