A well-established home construction and materials company in the North Dallas area is looking to bring on a Senior Systems Administrator for a full-time opportunity. This organization has been operating for decades, is publicly traded, and continues to grow as a leader in its space. The environment is primarily Microsoft-focused, with heavy use of Windows Server, Hyper-V, VMware, and cloud technologies such as Entra ID and Office 365.
This role is a strong fit for someone who wants to take ownership of core infrastructure initiatives, particularly around backup strategy and server administration. The team is adding headcount due to growth, and this hire will play a key role in strengthening system reliability and disaster recovery capabilities. It’s an opportunity to join a stable company while still getting hands-on exposure to meaningful projects and modernization efforts, all within a collaborative and team-oriented environment that values long-term growth and consistency.
Required Skills & Experience
- 5+ years of experience in systems administration or infrastructure engineering
- Strong background working with Windows Server environments
- Hands-on experience with Hyper-V and VMware virtualization technologies
- Experience with backup and recovery solutions such as Cohesity, Veeam, or Rubrik
- Solid understanding of Microsoft 365 and Entra ID
Desired Skills & Experience
- Exposure to networking technologies such as Cisco, Fortinet, or similar
