In this role, you will lead the Product Design team while partnering closely with Product, Engineering, and Executive Leadership to shape the future of their platform. You’ll be responsible for hiring and mentoring a world-class design organization, establishing scalable design processes, refining the company’s design system, and driving the long-term product vision that will make building software intuitive for millions of users. This is a highly strategic leadership position that remains deeply connected to user research, product discovery, and hands-on collaboration across the organization.

Required Skills & Experience

• 10+ years of product design experience solving complex UX challenges within SaaS or technology companies
• 5+ years of experience leading, mentoring, and scaling high-performing product design teams
• Experience working within Product-Led Growth (PLG) SaaS organizations
• Proven success recruiting, developing, and retaining world-class design talent
• Deep expertise in user research, interaction design, product discovery, and design systems
• Experience establishing scalable design processes that support rapid product development and iteration
• Strong ability to balance customer needs, business objectives, and technical constraints when making product decisions
• Exceptional communication, leadership, and cross-functional collaboration skills

Desired Skills & Experience

• Experience designing AI-powered products or no-code/low-code development platforms
• Experience scaling design organizations within high-growth startup environments
• Strong understanding of developer tools, SaaS platforms, or productivity software
• Experience partnering closely with executive leadership on product vision and strategy
• Passion for coaching and developing future design leaders
• Strong understanding of experimentation, usability testing, and customer research methodologies
• Strategic mindset with the ability to influence organizational priorities across multiple stakeholders
• Self-starter with a passion for building exceptional user experiences and high-performing teams

What You Will Be Doing Daily Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and grow a high-performing team of Product Designers through coaching and career development
• Drive Product Design hiring strategy, interview processes, and organizational growth initiatives
• Establish and refine design processes across product discovery, validation, and product delivery
• Evolve Bubble’s design system to ensure consistency, scalability, and exceptional user experiences across the platform
• Partner closely with Product and Engineering leadership to shape product vision and long-term UX strategy
• Conduct user research and leverage customer insights to improve workflows, onboarding, and product usability
• Guide teams through design exploration, prototyping, validation, and iterative product development
• Balance user needs, design excellence, technical feasibility, and business priorities when making strategic product decisions
• Foster a collaborative design culture focused on innovation, continuous improvement, and operational excellence
• Help define how millions of users build software through AI-powered visual development experiences
