Job Description
A rapidly growing fintech startup transforming the $13 trillion U.S. mortgage industry is looking for a Growth Marketing & Content Lead to build the voice and brand behind one of the most innovative infrastructure companies in financial services. This company has built the first vertically integrated mortgage platform that turns mortgage origination into a single API, helping lenders modernize an industry that has historically relied on manual processes. Backed by top-tier investors including Peter Thiel, QED, Citi, Fifth Wall, and the founders of Ramp, Blend, and Mercury, this company is experiencing rapid growth as some of the nation’s largest mortgage originators build on its platform.
In this role, you will own their content, distribution strategy, and brand presence from the ground up. Working directly with the founders, you’ll create compelling narratives that educate the market, establish thought leadership, and build a loyal community across social platforms, newsletters, podcasts, and industry events. This isn’t a traditional marketing role built around content calendars and corporate messaging. Instead, you’ll have the freedom, budget, and autonomy to experiment, build an audience organically, and develop creative campaigns that drive awareness and customer engagement.
This is a rare opportunity to become one of the earliest marketing hires at a high-growth fintech company with significant market momentum. You’ll work directly alongside the executive team, own strategy from day one, and have the opportunity to shape how one of the fastest-growing companies in mortgage technology is perceived across the industry. If you’re entrepreneurial, highly creative, and passionate about building brands that people genuinely care about, this role offers tremendous ownership and long-term growth.
Required Skills & Experience
• Proven experience growing social media audiences, communities, or brands from the ground up
• Strong background in content marketing, brand marketing, growth marketing, or audience development
• Experience developing high-performing content across platforms such as X (Twitter), LinkedIn, and other social channels
• Exceptional writing, storytelling, and communication skills with the ability to create thought-provoking content
• Experience using AI tools to build scalable content systems and marketing workflows
• Strong understanding of social media algorithms, content distribution, and audience growth strategies
• Experience analyzing campaign performance and using data to drive future content and growth decisions
• Comfortable working directly with founders and executive leadership in a fast-paced startup environment
Desired Skills & Experience
• Experience in fintech, financial services, SaaS, or B2B technology companies
• Experience building founder brands or executive thought leadership programs
• Strong understanding of community-led growth and organic marketing strategies
• Experience running growth experiments and testing new marketing channels
• Experience working with podcasts, newsletters, influencers, and industry communities
• Entrepreneurial mindset with experience in early-stage startups or as a founder
• Comfortable serving as a public-facing representative of a brand
• Self-starter with strong creativity, ownership, and bias toward action
What You Will Be Doing Daily Responsibilities
• Build and scale company brand presence across X, LinkedIn, and emerging social platforms
• Develop original content that positions them as a thought leader within the mortgage and fintech industries
• Partner directly with the CEO to build executive thought leadership and founder brand awareness
• Create compelling narratives, research, opinion pieces, and educational content that drives engagement and industry conversation
• Design and execute growth experiments to identify new opportunities for audience acquisition and customer engagement
• Analyze performance metrics, audience insights, and campaign results to continuously optimize content strategy
• Build relationships with industry influencers, podcast hosts, newsletter publishers, and community leaders
• Identify new channels and communities where mortgage professionals and fintech leaders actively engage
• Collaborate with design and leadership teams to create high-impact campaigns and brand initiatives
• Continuously test new content formats, messaging strategies, and AI-powered marketing workflows to accelerate growth

You will receive the following benefits:
• Competitive Base Salary
• Equity Participation
• Medical Insurance
• Dental Benefits
• Vision Benefits
• Paid Time Off
• Professional Development Opportunities
• Direct Access to Founders and Executive Leadership
