Product Designer

A premier global financial institution that advises on some of the world’s largest mergers, acquisitions, and strategic transactions is seeking a Product Designer to help shape the next generation of enterprise software used by financial professionals. Combining the scale and stability of a global organization with the pace and innovation of a modern product team, this company is investing heavily in building intuitive, data-driven applications that simplify highly complex financial workflows. Their technology powers mission-critical decisions for analysts, advisors, and executive leadership across the organization.

In this role, you’ll own the end-to-end product design process, transforming sophisticated financial workflows and data-rich applications into elegant, user-centered experiences. Working closely with Product Managers, Engineers, and fellow Designers, you’ll translate complex business requirements into intuitive interfaces while maintaining an exceptional standard of visual design and usability. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys solving challenging UX problems, thrives in collaborative environments, and wants to make a measurable impact through thoughtful product design.

You’ll join an experienced product organization where design plays a central role in product strategy and execution. This is an opportunity to work on sophisticated enterprise applications, solve meaningful UX challenges involving large-scale datasets and operational workflows, and collaborate with talented cross-functional teams focused on building world-class software. Whether you’re an early-career designer with an exceptional portfolio or an experienced Product Designer looking to tackle complex enterprise challenges, you’ll have the opportunity to contribute to products that support some of the most important financial transactions in the world.

This is a long-term contract opportunity offering the stability of an ongoing engagement, a collaborative hybrid work environment in New York City, and the chance to work on high-impact enterprise products within a world-class technology organization.

  • Experience collaborating closely with Product Managers, Engineers, and cross-functional stakeholders
  • Strong communication, presentation, and problem-solving skills
  • High level of ownership, curiosity, and attention to detail

What You Will Be Doing Daily Responsibilities

  • Own the end-to-end design process from user research and wireframes through high-fidelity designs and prototypes
  • Design intuitive experiences that simplify complex financial workflows and data-heavy enterprise applications
  • Partner closely with Product, Engineering, and Design teams throughout the product development lifecycle
  • Create polished, production-ready user interfaces with a strong focus on usability and visual excellence
  • Contribute to and evolve scalable design systems and reusable UI components
  • Present design concepts, gather stakeholder feedback, and iterate quickly based on user and business needs
  • Help shape products used by sophisticated business users operating in fast-paced, data-driven environments
